EWI will host a Robotic Arc DED Manufacturing and Repair of Marine Components Workshop at their Columbus, Ohio Campus July 16th – 18th. This National Shipbuilding Research Program (NSRP) Research Announcement project’s overall goal is to develop NAVSEA and ABS approved process-material design data, establish prototype quality management processes that are compliant with new requirements, qualify procedures and DED manufactured parts, and establish suppliers for DED manufacturing and repair of marine components. In addition, this project will develop advanced DED support processes (build solvers, sensors, and controls) for high duty, lights-out systems to maximize business case.

The In-Person attendance (July 16th – 18th) registration deadline is July 9th. This is limited to US Citizens and direct competitors may be limited (will be notified upon review).
